They didnt say that with Halo 3. With Halo 3 they said it would be the last game they make...with that storyline.Ok let me rephrase that, They said after Halo 3 they were done making halo...And they did say they were done but the creators still wanted to make another halo. And the creators of Halo where thinking about making another FPS exactly like Halo but would have to change the name and some things because bungie was going to be done working on halo as well cuz it was suppose to be a trilogy....(With that storyline) From the reviews yes it says the campaign doesn't follow the others but bungie says that the game is suppose to occur during the events of halo 2 so, in away it is part of the storyline as in the whole alien attacking the earth storyline.

Its super fun.The new Halo3 disk with the new maps, and new menu screen/music is a nice change.
+1 it looks pretty sweet. Now only if you could play campaign you would have the whole halo 3 disk...Firefight is pretty sweet to and with them putting on skulls presents a little bit of a challenge.

I think Kirk and I are the only two people who own xboxes that aren't huge Halo fans.I HATE FPS games on consoles. Worst invention ever.
What about me?
I hate halo.
Computer gaming > Console Gaming, but i'm glad all you nerds disagree with me. lol jk.

PC shooters are easier to control but not nescessarily better. What makes them "better?" Halo has a great mythology driving it if you bother to follow it, which is why I own all of the halo games. I am a halo nerd and have read the books so I'm kinda biased, but I think halo is a lot of fun online. That said the campaign in ODST is not really that short, and there are a lot of cool things to find. Plus if you don't have any of the downloadable maps it comes with all of them.

Started playing at 8:30pm and finished the game at 1:30am...I could tell that is was the end but it really seemed like i was only just getting half way into the game. But it was fun and i had a blast...+1 on the new firefight mode, its pretty sweet. 311k score so far.
~apparently i lied, i was looking around on the bungie website and it only took me 3 hours to beat the game... I said 1:30 cuz that's when i went to bed but i played 2 firefight games after the campaign.
