The article said the girl did want to go, so not exactly a kidnapping but fortunatly for her and her family Kentucky's laws are balck and white about this brand of bullshit.

So I found out yesterday that this guy's wife and daughter used to work with my wife at a local hotel. This guy is one of the biggest pieces of shit you could ever meet. He would hit on my mother-in-law and proposition her right in front of his wife. He also sold his then-14 year old daughter to a guy in his 30s to marry her (also Bosnian). He ended up starving her, raping her, and beating her. She was eventually rescued by her mother and is back with her now, although I think she is the one that went with to Kentucky so she is actually in protective custody.
