What exhaust setup are you gonna be lookin for? I've done 3" over the axle on a CRX before, its a PITA, but do able.

I am gonna go 2.5"...I'd like to go over the axle just because it'd be more drivable.....but a big part of me just wants to do a single bend and go underneath the axle.

        Brett,
        I thought your car sold?

Yeah, its sold twice actually 😛 The last guy was very reputable so I'm surprised he backed out - heck, he even talked to DH about my car.

Its sitting in Fargo in heated storage. I can pull it out if you want to mock up on it - keep in mind that its a stock twins and not a single setup. DH - does your turbo sit the same place as it would on a GTE Head??? Maybe that would be a better option for Nick

Pretty sure the turbo sits in a slightly different position on my car.

Well every header is gonna move the turbo slightly either way.

Just got off the phone w/ the manufacturer of the bender. The largest i would be doing is 3". To do anything larger than that you have to step up into a larger machine and the tooling and what not is just ridiculous and i dont really see it being feasble just to do 4". To do anything over 4" the machine alone would be well over $100k plus tooling. And just to give you an idea for the machine im looking @ tooling for 2.5" is $5500 and 3" is $6000, so i dont even wanna know what it cant get up to to do say 4" and 5". Its simply just not worth it. But he's gonna send me over a pricing guide and cost estimates and we'll go from there. Said it could take up to 8 weeks to get a machine as they have the tooling built and that has been known to take 6 weeks @ times. So as soon as i get the quote from him im gonna look it over see how things are and then go from there.

Sounds badass nick. If you need a 2.3dohc 96 prelude to play with, my buddy has one that needs exhaust badly. Keep us informed.

My probe is fast. How fast? Line up next to me at the track and find out.
I can pull my probe faster than most ricers can race. haha
