What I think is funny about this whole thing is that the whole debate/bitching (in this thread) started when Zac said:

how come i keep hearing on how we are fixing the un-financially sound practices of the last 8 years then??so either you are lying or the current administration is lying.... and there is no way they would do that
and I showed how spending grew under Bush (and should be changed). I'll be the first to admit that Obama isn't doing any better job. So yes...the current administration is lying in saying that they are keeping spending under tighter control. I never once said it wasn't.

I never once said it wasn't.You know, I believe the majority of people on this board that consider themselves conservative did not like Bush and the amount he was spending. So telling us that he was doing a bad job is like preaching to the choir.
The Obama Administration is taking the negatives of the Bush Administration and putting them on steroids.
Also, pointing to negatives of others in the past to negatives that are happening now is not an excuse that should be tolerated. What people want is somebody that isn't about politics as usual, and that actually cares about the country and people more than their own political interests.

I reread what you posted and I got it now...And as I saw in an earlier post of yours, I completely agree with that we shouldn't be arguing over what Bush did...
