I was just curious, can't wait to see a final mockup. Lord knows I will be needing another manifold after awhile. Maybe an SLS?

I have had a good experience with SLS. They have answered all my e-mails and every time I come in they are willing to listen to my dreaming (lol) and offer advice.

Hope you have some better customer service on it."I ordered the 3" intake pipe, 2.5" uicp, 2.5" throttle body elbow, and the hoses/clamps/gaskets/ect. from www.straightlinespecialties.com. ALL I GOT WAS THE INTAKE PIPE, UICP, AND HOPSES/CLAMPS. NO TB ELBOW IN SIGHT! I emailed Nick from SLS and he said he'll get it to me ASAP. It's been over two months now and NO TB ELBOW + GASKETS! Over the past two months he didn't even return my emails! I have heard nothing from them since! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH STRAIGHTLINESPECIALTIES.COM!!!!!!!!!!!"
Something I found on dsmreviews.com
In every business there is gonna be a time and place where something out of the ordinary will happen... Whether email goes down, or you are dealing with a customer that will NEVER be happy... Heck we often have a customer that we couldn't give them the part/service for FREE and keep them happy. I wouldn't ever judge a shop on one persons complaint...even if the shop messed up. If you are in business long enough, you WILL make people upset, and you WILL make mistakes, but it is how you react after the mistake that makes your business good or bad. I wouldn't worry a whole lot from a customers complaint....
As long as the shop doesn't make a habit out of it... And I don't think SLS is 'that shop'.Jason

I agree, it is good to see the two shops co-existing w/ one another rather than constantly trying to get an edge ahead on the other shop. Like it or not they are the two "major" players in fargo when it comes to performance shops and it seems like even though they are competing for some of the same customers it would make sense that eventually one of them is going to need to send one of their customers to the other shop to have work done. For example, I could see SLS send tint & autostart customers to TM and I could see TM send people looking for custom fabbed headers, etc... to SLS.
I'm not trying to drive down the competitiveness between the two shops w/ statements like that, I'm glad they compete w/ each other. I'm glad they have a little rivalry. And I'm glad they seem to have found common ground to coexist w/ each other.....now if they could just co-exist enough to co-host shows w/ each other.
