GTI's hold their value better than you might assume, and there is a market for it. Might not be here, but as a starting point, $8k isn't a bad price. Sure, he probably won't get $8k, but it's not an unreasonable start.

i have seen same year stock with 100k miles more then mine go for 7500, so in that cause me asking 8k for my car I dont think is unreasonable at all, and its also around what it books kbb. So I think I am being reasonable with the price and of course it does say I am looking to get 8k, so it means OBO

I stand corrected, you wouldnt get 6k out of me for it, too old too many miles. Something's always worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.

so your saying less then 50 thousand miles is to many miles for a car that is 8 years old? hmm okay.. -
Whoops my bad I just skimmed it, I thought it said 149k it even says low miles in the title lol. Truth be told I was interested, just not worth that much to me personally, again good luck and have another bump.
