Sounds like BMW really hit the nail on the head w/ this bike. It is light, handles great, and makes a buttload of power. I want to ride one.

😞 I believe they start at some 13 grand... 15k+ after abs and what not.

Exclusive indeed ... and yeah ^+1, it would be fun to ride one! I believe I read someplace that they weigh some 400 pounds (Dry weight) :icon_colors:

But would you buy this over a Duccati 1098...?

Yep. Have you ever sat on a 1098 or 1198? Totally uncomfortable. I like to be able to ride my bikes around town, or for a few hours at a time. I haven't sat on the BMW, so maybe that sucks too, idk.

I can not say I have. All I have heard about Duccati is that they are horribly unreliable. But that could be just another fallacy

I have had the opportunity to drive my fathers 04 k1200... and that bike is amazing when you realize it is a sports touring!
I am sure this bike would be 10x the machine.

Friend of mine has a monster s4, seems to be pretty reliable, plugs and coils are kinda spendy though... very sick bike though...

BMW is 13,9xxx new. The new Suzuki 1000 is about the same.

Draw back that I have heard so far on the BMW is that dealerships won't have parts in the states for quite awhile, no biggie if you street ride but sucky if you want to race it.

That bike actually just went on sale like within the last couple of months Bubba. They raced it jast year and released the photos and prototype bs the year before. 190+ hp fuck yeah. That one round and one angular headlight looks funny but in the red white and blue motosport colors i love it.
