03 Mercury Marauder. Oh wait that's what I want for a DD. My impala gets 36ish on the highway, plenty of room, and the 3.8 will last as long as any subaru will. Its just a pretty boring car.

Actually, I don't think he's far off. GM V6's sip gas at freeway speeds. My Grand Prix got in the 30s if I drove under 80, and high 20s if I was at 80-100mph. My old Malibu also got 30-35 pretty much no matter what speed I was at. In town they were both pretty thirsty tho.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

Yes, it would fit him perfectly. But then we would have to deal with "hey I wanna do a LS7 swap" threads every other month.

Yup gets somewhere around 18 mpg in town. 36 was the best I saw driving from Fargo to Dickinson and back. Its usually a little less but on the highway always over 30.

Ok well using that logic when I went to the cities a year ago in my Del Sol I got ~46 MPG. So that's what my car gets.

Yeah I was totally exaggerating my bad. My Impala gets 34 +/- 2mpg on the highway.
