We dyno'd my buddies Miata back in the day in every gear... it was mildly amusing. IIRC it made about 57 whp in 5th gear HAHA.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall
Torque is how far you take the wall with you

                        When:
April 24th - Starting at 10:00am until we run out of cars

                        Where:
                        Modern Automotive Performance
                        9905 13th Ave N.
                        Plymouth, MN 55441

                        What:
Dyno Day and Show N' Shine with all proceeds going to "Race for the Cure"
3 dyno pulls for only $50

Alright guys the weather is warming up, and it's time to get ready to pull the cars out of storage, bolt on the new parts, and get your baseline numbers for 2010. Here is your perfect opportunity. MAP will be offering 3 dyno pulls at the discounted rate of $50. Also, all proceeds will go to "Race for the Cure." This is the perfect opportunity to come out of hibernation, and get the season started. We will be firing up the BBQ, and there will be hot dogs and hamburgers for sale. There will be plenty of space for a show 'n shine, so get your cars cleaned up and bring them out. For all you Vikings fan we will have a hat signed by Adrian Peterson, and a Vikings mini helmet signed by Steve Hutchinson that you will have an opportunity to acquire. So mark it on your calenders and let's make the first event of 2010 one to remember.

Here is our plan. We will do a sign up sheet with the times spread in 15 minute intervals. Please post up which time you would like, and we will try to put you in that slot. It will be on a first come first serve basis, so if someone else has already locked in that time we will reserve the one closest that is available. We will try to get this done as smoothly as possible, if dyno falls behind we will go until everyone that wants to gets a chance to dyno. Please respond with your full name and type of car you're bringing to dyno.

                        Sign up sheet:

                                      lets see some numbers.

                                      1993 240sx hatch - project/money pit
1998 Grand Cherokee LTD - Winter beater

N/A is the expensive way to go slow

By popular demand, we have decided to place a 2nd order of Boost for Boobies t-shirts. There should be plenty to go around. If you would like one set aside for you please e-mail [email protected] with your name, contact info, and which size you are looking for. When the shirts come in we will contact you for payment, and shipping information. Thanks to everyone for their continued support of this cause.
