We had a great turnout for the first event of the year, despite a week of wet weather leading up to it. Thanks to everyone who came out to race and support.
PLAYTIME PERFORMANCE MOTORCYCLE DRAG RACE SERIES:
We had 26 bikes show up for the first event. We have some new classes this year, some first time racers came out, and some personal bests were also set.

The eight cars that competed in the Quick 8 had a qualifying spread from 10.6 to 12.2
Fargostreet had representation from three cars. Christian Tvedten earned #1 qualifier with a 10.69. Kevin Smith was #4 qualifier with an 11.11, and Travis Bouton was #6 qualifier with a 12.09.
Tvedten left early with a red light loss in the first round. Both Smith and Bouton lost to the eventual champion, Bouton in the first round, Smith in the semi-finals.
The final placed Randy Belehar's Grand Prix with Jerry Harvey's Mustang. Belehar left on Harvey and won with a 10.47 to Harvey's 11.03.
Belehar won a $100 Stop-N-Go gift card for his efforts, along with the first place plaque. Harvey picked up a $50 Stop-N-Go gift card for runner-up.

:icon_albino:Yes, although the 14 was NA.
The 14 should be on spray for the next event. The 1000 had a good first day at the track, and we have a laundry list of things to adjust.
The record will fall this year.
