WAP proxy

I'm trying to setup my phone so i can use the browser.
I've tried to setup my own server w/ NOWWap, no luck.
I've tried many different servers with no luck.

I have verizon, does anyone know how to get NOWWap working or of a free server i can use?

Did you configure your router and wap ports on your phone correctly?

What ports are you hosting the server on?

What model phone?

i have nowwap 2.54
i used my ip address and port 9201

not sure what ports for the server, all i did was install nowwap and select "run as service"
i currently have my cable modem connected directly to my desktop, no router or firewall

it's a samsung a610

You need to configure the server to run on port 9201... it doesn't automatically enable the WAP server, or configure it to 9201, you have to do that

ok, i turned on the wap server (under HTTP tab selected enable HTTP(WAP2) Proxy) and set it to port 9201 and i'm still not getting it.
i tried w/ my wife's phone too (same model) and it failed too.
i can send you the IP if you want to try to see if it's my phone or my computer.
