So you want the whole car sprayed(excluding jams, engine bay, and trunk deck) for 600 bucks using a custom mixed color?..or do you just want the pieces that dont match sprayed?
He is painting it the same color so I think hes talking about the parts that dont match.

i would actually get the entire car painted. Its not a custom color, its the stock honda color. its just that honda doesnt make it any more. I dont know whats goin on with my body work, i cant decide. i also need my hood alligned and my hood pins reinstalled in the proper places. Quality did a good job but they didnt allign the hood to well.and in turn drilled holes in the wrong spots for the hood pins.

do you realize all that needs to be done to move the hood is adjust the hinges. the hood lined up to the old fenders, not the new ones.

then the fenders are probably off, not the hood.....

I dont think you will find anyplace to spray the whole car and mix you your own color for 600 bucks but Hobby Shop would be my first stop(slightly biased because my father rents to them) but they do exceptional work. It was a secret that they did mustatel's overflow but whoopsy, I guess the secrets out. They also are contracted for Farmer's Pride's vehicles(rather large meat delivery business). Mike and Tom do everything from a fender bender to fully restoring five window coupes to chopping out a motorcycle. To put it frankly hes an artist and takes pride in his work, coincidently he does it cheap. I think they would probably spray the whole car for you reasonably cheap if you are not pressed for time and willing to work with their schedule a little bit. I havent talked to them personally about it but if you tell them I sent you it might help your cause 🙂

edit/ its easier to move the fenders then bondo holes in a hood and redrill new ones...

only the very front of the hood is off. where the hinges are its fine. it was fine until i took the hood off to put all the new body parts on. i think i just didnt line it up nicely.

I know what you are saying..but if you already have holes in the hood for your hood pins, you probably do not want to puddy them up and drill new ones.

You keep saying that Honda doesnt make the color anymore, but if the color was every offered by PPG or Dupont, you should be able to go into any auto parts store that mixes PPG and Dupont paint. They have mixing codes and they mix most all their factory colors when you go in to get them. Its not like they just have the millions of factory colors being stored.

And Im assuming that by "box" you mean the car needs to be block sanded. If thats the case you are never gonna find someone to block sand the car, and shoot paint for $600.

If you do find someone, it will be a half assed job.
