BOV info?

I want to have one on my intake piping that is being fabricated right now, the flange has to be steel, not aluminum. What types of BOV's would you recomend? what do they do for a car anyway?...other than make noise (please dont turn this into another "oh be nice to him he had cancer thread"...please forget it ever happened seeing as how no one can be mature about it, thanks!)
I was recomended this type of valve...suggestions?

dont get that blow off valve. LOL. RFL's are junk. the bov is there to release pressure from the turbo when u shift or let off so it doesnt cause compresser surge.
