new cd player not working
-
i have a 2000 acura integra ls, i hooked up my cd player using a wireing harness, at first it worked but i got the ignition and power wires switched so i pulled it out switched them, but then it wouldn't work at all. i switched them back and it wouldn't work like it did before either. at this time i noticed taht my dash clock was not working. anybody have any idea what is casing this? is the dash clock and the cd player connected somehow? i checked the fuse in the car and it was still good.

does your interior light work too? if it doesnt it has to be the fuse......sometimes there is more than one fuse for the radio. i know that most cars have the radio clock and interior light on one fuse

sounds like you blew a fuse

its gotta be a fuse...unless you pulled some wires loose?!?! want me to come look at it?

There is a fuse under the hood labeled Backup. It is a 7.5 amp fuse and it sits in the top first row to the right of the PGMFI/ECU fuse if I remember right. Swap that and you'll be good to go.
