      I do own an aler but it doesnt have any graphics and I dont go to school at ndsu. See, its people like that give me and my car a bad name. Damn ricers....lol. STiSchucky, it will work great because the radar detector will be under my front bumper and the normal light that goes off on the radar detector will be rewired to make my blue led go off. The only problem i forsee right now is that It probably won't pick up a radar from behind me, but thats ok i guess. If I don't see them in time i deserve a ticket.

          all it does is set off a light or do you get noise outta it to. would be kinda weird. but yea if it doesnt detect behind u. ur screwed.

            its just a little indicator light...its a little smaller than a penny. Just a light no noise. I wish it was a manual too but I got a killer deal on since I work at a dealership so I bit my tounge and bought it. Thanks for all the replies.

                    no its a 2000 but i work at a dealership so I know when they came out with the manual....sorry for mixup
