mr clean sprayer coats your car with teflon or something, so if you plan on buffing or waxing it its not a good idea

I think you mean polymer. And you CAN wax over polymer, you just can't put polymer over wax.

No where on the Mr clean website does it say anything about teflon. Could you show me this? Because I am 100% sure it is polymer. I have also had a huge debate over this product at autopia, and have never even heard a mention of teflon. I would like you to prove me wrong.

                        A Note to the Naysayers:
Mr. Clean AutoDry Carwash does not strip wax. Mr. Clean AutoDry doesn't leave behind a film, just a thin, temporary layer of the Dry Rinse Polymer molecules, which are replenished each time the car gets washed. These do not strip the wax, or harm the paint or clearcoat in any way.

While this seems to be true that it doesn't strip wax, there has been an apparent loss of slickness in wax after use. So it is beleived that it is strips some wax, but not all of it.

If you're going to do a bucket wash at Whale-of-a-Wash be damn sure nobody sees you. They're open fairly late and go during the week instead of on the weekend if possible.

The pay wash places don't allow bucket washing because it deprives them of income. They want you to use their soap spray and brush even though it is known to damage the clear coat.

Yeah, there brush's are absolute crap. they are friggen hard plastic. Good for scrubin, but horrible for the paint. not to mention, the have rocks/shit in them all the time. The only brush I would use on a paint for washing would be a boar's hair brush.
