Whats your detailing process?

Sharing is caring, let us know how you detail your car, or some tips/tricks you have.
1.Megs gold class wash, dry with leaf blower (only do this in low dust environments, otherwise I use a Packshak big blue drying towel) using 100% sheepskin EUROW wash mitt
2.Complete 70/30 denatured alcohol/distilled water bath whiping off with a Packshak MF towel.
3.Mothers claybar using Zaino Z6 quick detailer as lubericant whiping off with a Packshak MF towel.
4. If any contaminants are STILL left on after this, I hit them with 3M adhesive remover and a PackShak MF towel.
5. quick alcohol bath to remove Z6 (unnecissary if I use #83 next)
6. Tape off all rubber/plastic peices and body seams where the paint is thinner
7. Megs DACP #83 w/ a portercable 7424 w/ CMA yellow pad (corser pad) removing excess with a Packshak MF towel (DO NOT LET DRY!). I only do this step if there are heavy swirls and scrathes.
8. Megs #9 swirl remover 2.0 w/ a portercable 7424 w/ CMA white pad (softer pad) removing excess with a PAckshak MF towel (DO NOT LET DRY!)
9. Polish har to reach areas by hand with a foam pad and 3m swirl mark remover.
10. Alcohol bath to remove #83 & #9. Remove tape
11. Apply Z1 (ZAINO) w/ foam applicator, wetted with megs quick detailer.
12. Apply about 15 coats of Z2 (ZAINO) w/ a quick detailer wetted foam applicator, making sure to apply Z1 every so often and cleaning with QD between coats.
13. Top with S100 wax.Sometimes I skip the Zaino and just go traight to a glaze w/ S100.
Thats a breif summery of what I use just on the paint. I might be missing parts, I don't know.

I drive to whale of a wash and spray it off. But that is only if the car is lucky.

drive to whale of a wash, spray it quick, brush it for a good 10-15 minutes, then spray the fuck out of it for a full cycle.
then i wipe out the door frames and the hatch and armor all the interior. then i vaccum it out at home if im feeling really ambitious.

I've just recently started changing my routine since discovering www.autopia.org. I use a Eurow sheepskin washing mit with Meguiar's Deep Crystal Car Wash, and a Viking MF drying towel. For the tires I use a WalMart branded tire brush and the Meg's DC Car Wash in a double concentrated solution. The wheels basically get the same treatment but that will change once I decide on a cleaner spray and buy a wheel cleaner brush. I clean the wheel wells with Simple Green and a small plastic bristle brush, and top them with a Turtle Wax rubber and vinyl protectant. The plastic exterior lenses recently got polished with Meguiar's Plastix. I use Trouble Free glass cleaner and Viking Windshield and Glass MF cloths. For the paint, I'm going to use Clay Magic clay, and I'm not sure about the other steps. I need something that can get rid of some of my swirl marks by hand. I'm also trying to decide between Mothers FX SynWax, Meguiar's NXT Liquid Tech Wax, or some other wax. I also need to find a new interior vinyl treatment, which I think will probably be a Meguiar's product.

My system ain't down packed. I go to a do it yourself wash and rinse it and soap and spray wax. Then I use turtle wax polishing compound and use a cheap craftsmen buffer. Then I do a layer of turtle wax regular wax and buff. Then to keep it nice I'll use a quick detail spray or spray it off if its real dirty
