1/4 Mile times

People should also list what type of gas and how much boost they were running for those times. That would be neat to see. On mine I was on 92 octane and 22psi.

I agree... ill also raise the bullshit flag on this one. I can smoke monte carlo's easily so there is no way a shitty 3.1L LS would run the same 1/4 as me.

yeah i had that same exact car. i didnt say anything when i seen the initial post. but i have to say them times seem very good for that car. i could possibly believe a high 15 at 84-87 tops.
edit" i did get to run a newer body style focus when i had mine though. cant remember the exact model, but it said "xx3" or something like that. think it was an svt model. anyway form a light we raced to 70 and he only had me at his door. and i was completley stock, with a heavy ass system and a passenger!

a zx3 and an svt arent the same. i believe the svt is faster.. besides the visual differences. right?

SVT has a totally reworked motor... same 2.0 zetec but compression was bumped to 10:2:1 with forged rods, cast aluminum block, cast aluminum pistons, oil squirters, VVT, blah blah blah the list goes on. The only down fall to it is the BMW mini cooper s transmission having 2 final drive gears causing the gears to be extreamly long hence my 92.5mph trap speed at 15.5 1/4 mile.

I can smoke monte carlos up and down the street except the new supercharged SS. You prolly raced a base model ZX3 sitting at a lowly 130hp and like 105tq or something shitty like that. SVT is 170hp 145tq but with a better tune it gains another 15whp and 15wtq not to mention the power band is drastically changed for much more low end torque.
