funny how all of a sudden people realize its on mother's day

The official date was posted two weeks ago.

...and oblivious said something the day after this thread was created about it being on mother's day......

I just asked Too Tall Tom what Sunday will pan out to be. He says scattered showers. We may be okay. And I mentioned the Mother's Day thing waaaaaaay back when it was picked. I think we'll be okay.

Perhaps its meaningless to you but to my mother and most mothers out there its not at all meaningless. Its their day for you to do shit for them, another hilday for them to get their family together that they dont see all the time.

I would love to come as well, but if I do come up....I need to know that it is still gonna happen even with/without rain, etc. It's a 2.5 hour drive for me so....Backup plans? As for the rain....I don't believe crap from them more than 24 hours in advance.
