Hey everybody,
Over the past few months, I've watched Fargostreet.com develop from a tiny group of people to now over 300 members. True, its not huge, and alot of people don't participate in discussions, but the stats don't lie. There were 53 users online on 09-02-2004 at 12:44 PM. That's pretty impressive for such a small community.
Many of you may have seen the videos Redline or Turbo Dreams, I'm not sure about all of you, but after watching those videos, I really would like to make a high quality, widely distributed video that would represent what we have going on here; move away from the stereotypical "oh is that the same place as the movie fargo."
At the bottom of this post, I've posted links to videos to use as reference; well planned out, well shot, and very well compiled videos of various groups and people throughout the world (having to do with cars). IMV films for example has released videos much as what I'd like to have...
So I guess before I get to far ahead of myself, I'd like to judge the interest in participation in a video such as this.... Post up with what you'd like to see, if you'd be willing to participate, and any other comment.
As always, I'd be hosting the videos on the Fargostreet.com server (theres more then enough bandwidth and space here)....

What do you do with a bunch of slow cars in a video though? That doesnt seem exciting to watch.
I mean comon Jim, we can only push our cars so fast.

for once i wont have to push mine
not that it runs great but hey its a dsm and i still have to get a few sensors -
hey...if you can't go fast with 90hp, then 900hp won't help. haha
oh, i'd love to be in that video and maybe even help develope it too

fat bastard has a point....we will gain little to no respect if we make a video of monte carlos and stock civics racing up and down deserted highways.

it doesn't have to be vids of cars racing either man. the vids can just show us at gtgs, show us cruising, and show how much fun we have, thats all you really need to get the point across.
