Just copy the designs of the Toyota 2JZ GTE. I may be a Nissan guy, but I won't hesitate to admit that the 2JZ is arguably the best motor designed in the 90s.

I don't know of any other engine that can make over 1000hp on a stock block.

I normally dig Top Secret Japan, but that one just didn't do it for me.

I guess I'm too much of a purist, hahahahahaha!

            ????

Is 2650 supposed to be a hp number?

And I know the 4G is a good motor, but 1000hp isn't as reliable on that motor like it would be on others Granted, I've seen stock block Evos belt out over 500, but anything over 550 is pushing it.

I think the best way to say it, is that a stock cast iron block will take a LOOOOT more power, boost and abuse than a stock aluminum block ever will.

4G63's are iron blocks...and the blocks can take a shitload...

sorry, 2650lb is shep's race weight.
why can't some good sleeving solve the problem? hasn't a b-series block been pushed to 700+hp? good aluminum block with some hefty sleeves and perhaps some reinforcing should have no problem with the kind of abuse that cast iron takes

Wow theres a ton of options. I might just stick with a pretty simple inline 4. Maybe 4 valve dohc. The rotary would be awesome but I don't think I have the time or smarts to design it. Where could I find some blueprints or somethin so I could get some design help?
