I think you need to get to know this site a bit...they were just giving you a little grief...like we do all newbies. Post a little intro about who you are and what not and then mention in there that you are looking for someone in particular and were wondering if they frequent this site. In all honesty the intro section is one of the most read sections of the forum and has a large number of people responding to it, so it would probably be your best bet for finding someone.
Just trying to help out a bit.
