find a realllllly good welder around fargo

i would just swap everything over to your car, i think it wouldn't be good to weld it if he is planning on drifting the car.
-
how else is he gonna get the front clip to stay on the car?

its going to cost my probably 12-14k for my swap, cuz i need a STi Version VI front clip and those are still around 8-10k depending on miles

ya i dont want to be as ghetto as the pimp my ride car.
got to get the stuff and find out exatctly how hard it would be to go to RHD and then see if that is worth what i could sell it for. don't know how much trouble with the cops i want to be in cause i want to still drive my 240 on the street
-
u wont have a problem, in another state where that stuff matters they are gunna pull you over seeing its a RHD import and expect it doesnt pass emissions and try to stick you with that. Its not illegal to have a rhd car, but if u live in a state where u probably shouldnt have a swap and no cats...your RHD car is going to attract more attention.

on the 240s, they have all of the hole there already you just need to drill and cut you dont need templates, looked at all of that stuff on my 240 w/ no motor and doing auto to 5spd swapthat's sweet, i think it would be pimp if you did the rhd swap
-
in my opinion, it would be sweet, but it would only be beneficial if you want it to be a show car. if you plan on selling it, it is going to be harder to sell like that and will probably have to take less then otherwise. i'd only do it if you planned on it being a show car.

i think he should do it, because it would be easier to talk to chicks while driving down the road!!

i know, i saw a guy say that in a video when he didi it to a 29-95 civic hatch! i think it would work too!

yes, it would work, how do you think everyone else builds rhd cars?when i said it would work, i was talking about picking up chicks.

dude, you already have the clip coming...i take from your post....but it is all dependant on how much time you want to be without it. If you know what you are doing, it wont take long....but if you are a first timer without help, itll be some time, Im expecting a few weeks on a garage at home on the floor with hand tools without much help. Get someone with experience with working on cars everyday to help. Itll go by much quicker.
and my opinion, do it!!!....i wish I could afford a clip for mine, Id do it in a heartbeat.

true JDM S13 parts sell for a bundle o dough... now with an S13 front clip done up right including the RHD conversion, and an SR20DET swap ( if its a red top JDM ) in a 240sx... most people would give their left nut for that car. Its the closest you will get to a true S13 silvia in the states without going through the trouble of lisencing it and what not.
