1/4 Mile times

SVT has a totally reworked motor... same 2.0 zetec but compression was bumped to 10:2:1 with forged rods, cast aluminum block, cast aluminum pistons, oil squirters, VVT, blah blah blah the list goes on. The only down fall to it is the BMW mini cooper s transmission having 2 final drive gears causing the gears to be extreamly long hence my 92.5mph trap speed at 15.5 1/4 mile.

I can smoke monte carlos up and down the street except the new supercharged SS. You prolly raced a base model ZX3 sitting at a lowly 130hp and like 105tq or something shitty like that. SVT is 170hp 145tq but with a better tune it gains another 15whp and 15wtq not to mention the power band is drastically changed for much more low end torque.

well who knows what he had done to it, and it was the only on ei ever ran so i couldnt say if it wouldve panned out any differently! and yes this was in a 97 monte carlo ls

how can u say that u had a very hard time trying to pull from me and i have bad piston rings and heads so how could u pull from a zx3........lol j/k ur prix is quick

Not bad for the first time at the drag strip, if I didn't have 2 bad cylinders and 150K on the car I bet I woul dhave been a good second faster. For the next event I am bringing my old ford truck. Curious to see what that 400hp monster I have car do, my friends nicknamed it the rice eater, lol.
