Winnipeg Hotel Reservations

I need to know for sure, who all is coming with us (and staying with us)... I need to make the group reservations (they cannot be canceled like regular reservations), and I don't want to get stuck paying for a bunch of un-used rooms.

At this point in time, we're thinking about 10 rooms. I called 14 different hotels in Winnipeg, prices ranging from 89.99-199.99. We are unable to get cheap hotel rooms again this year, due to the weekend being flagged as a special event weekend.

I can get us a group reservation at the Clarion Hotel and Suites, right next door to earls. Prices are 103.99 with an additional charge of $5 for every person over the first two, most likely we can get out of it, but don't cout it out as we may have to pay for it.

103.99 is in Candian money (fake lol) so, it ends up being around $80 some dollars a night, not including tax (there seems to be a buttload).

Alright... umm... so heres what's gonna have to happen...

I'll be doing some calling around tomorrow, for people who are going FOR SURE. I can't have maybes. Its not like regular hotel reservations where you can cancel and stuff, we have to sign a group contract. If I can't get enough people FOR SURE tomorrow, then everybody will be on thier own to book thier rooms.

I got three rooms cheap at the hampton inn and suites. Two are for kevin and one is for tufte. The rest are going to be 99 canadian. I think johnson got one room at 89. I think jim is staying with kevin. www.hilton.com to book the rooms if you want them.
