If you mean do I say rees-es (with the es pronounced like you'd say "essay") or rees-ies (with the ies pronounced like you would when saying "cries") the answer is the first (rees-es)....hence the name of the bite sized candies, Reeses Pieces, they should rhyme

Not "ies" like in "cries", I guess I should've said "reese-ees" or "reese-ez. It seems so obvious to me that it is pronounced "rees-es", simply because that is how it should be, hah. Also, like you said tjamz, it rhymes!!

I say it how it is spelled but your explanation for the whoe pronounciation has me scratching my head. Maybe get some audio up of how it is said in the different forms.
