Look ma, no wing!

Well I did it. At least as much as my non existant budget will allow for now.
I left the little black bases of the wing on and put small allen bolts w/ lock nuts through the mounting holes to plug them, still needs a little silcone though to make sure there sealed. I think it will do for now.
The pic is a night and fuzzy but it gives you a general idea.

how do the bases bolt down to the trunk lid? 2 bolts each side? Probably look even better if you found some plugs (typical push pin type) and painted them to match with some touch up paint.

I though about that but it looks pretty rough under the bases. I can buy some and give it a try I guess, there pretty cheap.

It wasn't as bad under the bases as I thought. Theres still noticeable marks though, I tred a tiny bit of old school rubbing compound then some 3M cleaner wax to buff it. Its nice and shiny and smooth but the marks are deep in the clear coat, you cant really see them unless you look at the right angle. Still would like to get it redone or get a CF trunk lid.
