I'll be there assuming my heap doesn't break again before that. I'm also trying to get a bunch of people from Minot and Williston to come down so we can show them how we do over here

i'm game.

Like I said before, I have almost no interest in drag racing anymore. I might make a couple passes this year, but not too concerned about running anything special...a 13 is fine
-
nope, no real intentions to either...
-
by that I mean not going out of my way to do it...if I have nothing else going on and the stars line up perfectly.....maybe
-
why would you spend time drivin to do something meaningless to everybody that wasnt there rather then do something 5 minutes away that you can tell somebody in like cali or somewhere.
draggin>auto-x.
-
Why do you have the parts you do on your car then? Don't you have a decent size turbo and stuff that would not be ideal to road racing? I think you should race!!

Let's see, automatic transmission, high stall converter, AWD, big turbo...
Sounds like a car built for drag racing!!! hahaha. -

I am disliking dragracing for the same reasons so many people love it...its repetitive. Line up, stage, rev, launch, drive straight, apply brakes, turn off to return road, go to pits, wait 30 minutes, repeat... I'd rather lose at auto-x than win at dragracing. At least there I feel like I'm trying to do something with my car. Who cares about bragging rights, there's always gonna be someone faster and even w/ 1/4 mile racing you will have people arguing well you were at sea level and I was at 1679 feet above sea level, thats not a fair apples to apples comparison. It takes more talent in my opinion to win consistantly in autocross than it does in drag racing. Thats not taking anything away from drags though, the cars that do it are amazing as well. Its a whole different game and to compare the two is like trying to compare Wheels to Smoke Detectors.

Sounds like a car built for drag racing!!! hahaha.18G's are the preferred turbos of WRX autocrossers...but yes, I originally built it for drag racing, just lost all interest
I'm kinda notorious for that I had a pedal bike that was built for freestyle but then decided I wanted to run BMX a few times. Had a car built for SPL then decided to go SQ.

I think I'm going to try to make one of the days if I can sneak away from work for the day.
