I went for a drive tonite, this thing sounds very angry.... unfortunately there is a boost problem, it's a 20 psi spring in the wastegate, but it instantly makes 25 psi then climbs to almost 30 psi. I think the WG is too small... :mad:

Oh, I thought this was pretty cool, after I got back home I turned off the car... popped the hood, got out and opened the hood and stood back a couple steps... the turbo was still spinning like crazy.

yeah i was gonna say that WG looked way too small for a turbo of that size...you upgraded turbos but emensely downgraded WG sizes...

It's a 40mm wastegate... much smaller than the 60mm I had on the last header.

This is really odd... I put in a 7psi spring I had laying around (for a tial) and it held 7 psi rock solid. Then I used the boost controller and I could bring it up to 20psi, 24 psi, and finally 28psi and it seemed to hold pretty solid... wtf. At 28 psi it seemed to climb/creep a little at the end, but not too bad. I'll keep messing with it (and do some datalogging) to see wtf is going on.

Oh.... the car is really slow at 7psi. I wasn't sure if it was accelerating or not.
