anyone wanna be in a band?

my friend and i are trying to start a band. weve jammed with a bunch of people but none of them seem to work out and its getting really frustrating. i figured id just see if anyone wanted to get together and jam, hopefully get something going if it works out.
he plays drums, and i can play either bass or guitar, depending on what we needed. weve both been playing our respective instruments for around 5 years.. so i think were at least halfways decent. main influences range anywhere from new found glory to glassjaw to from autumn to ashes, every time i die, thrice, etc.
