Someone was scoping out my car

I pulled up to my house and as I was leaving my parked car, a car without any lights on started down the street and parked 4 houses down from me. I went inside, and 15 minutes later the same car was parked outside of my house. I openeed my garage and they took off. I tried to go after them, but I had to run to my other car...and it is slow, so I couldn't get a plate or even a good look at the car. It did have blue headlights and was a dark 4 door car.

I best not get anything stolen from my car or I will be pissed off

I don't know what to do. It's not an easy target, it's in a garaged, all doors are locked to it, but I guess if they REALLY wanted it the could get it.

I'm pissed. I almost got picked up trying to chase them down....a cop flashed his cherries as a warning for me to slow down

they scoped out my car during broad daylight one day...of course my mom saw but do you think she remember what the car looked like or what the kid looked like? hell no...im assuming thats why the grand prix got broken into cause the 240 doesnt get stored at home...

i saw this same car also the same night down my block and driving around my neighbor hood. WTF? I didnt think anything of it until now cause it didnt seem too suspicious.

I doubt it that is was Dustin, he's too much of a moron to steal something.

I would keep the car in the garage and no one should screw with it, I have to do that with my camaro, otherwise I would have lost me stuff a long time ago.

I catch people scoping out stuff on my lot all the time, and ended up putting cameras up, and give the cops a call every time I catch one. Caught a kid in a red eclipse trying to break into my firebird once, but he was too fast and I couldn't catch him, but he left his car and I turned it over the the police, and they found the car was stolen.

No matter what there are people out there that are going to steal stuff, just try protecting it as best you can, car alarms are good, and keeping you car in the garage is a good idea. Most thieves won't even touch your car, but just scope it out, see if the doors are unlocked. They look for easy targets, plus half the people in fargo don't lock there cars, and some even leave there keys in them.

The reason I know all this is very bad, I did some things I regret but have since grown up.

Theives are attracted to cars that are sporty, modified, have stickers, fancy wheels etc. Although stickers seem to attract the most attention. Might as well just advertise to break into your car on a billboard.

Keep your car locked at night, in a grage if you have one, alarm armed, or buy a alarm, and if you must leave it outside overnight, keep it in a well lighted area.

Well, they shotty is loaded, we installed sensor lights and our dog goes ape shit if it even hears a squirrel fart outside. The car doors are locked and all the doors to the garage are locked/blocked with tires or a dog house because we don't use them.

Also, if they try and steal it, everyone in a 2 block radius will know (it's a little loud).
