i dont do countertops. but, u got to think depending on which stone u choose. the cheapest per ft u gonna get is 15$.
but the norm is 25-70$ per foot
ur avg kitchen has about 30 square feet of countertops. then u have to add in labor ( 40-60$ per hour) polishing/bevel ( 5-20$ per linear ft) then if u want a backsplash, which most do. that is just a 4 or 6 inch lip on the back.
anyway just figured i would throw that out there for ya! so u didnt think they were tryin to rip ya

if you have a wet saw capable of cutting some of the four inch thick marble/granite/travertine ect countertops I would have to tell you that expanding your business would be in your best interest..... you can make more money doing a custom 14' countertop then you would laying a whole kitchen floor.

depends on the particular job. adn yeah we do have a rail saw.
but how many houses up here have that type of countertop? i will say that the company that i work for does some of the higher end houses and 1 outta 10 of them has granite. havent seen any travertine here. no marble countertops.
                    mainly formica and corian.

i know someone wants there bathroom tiled?
