I wouldn't mind aftermarket taillights so long as they look like they belong on the car. If proper care was taken in the design process to make them look stock at first glance or at least look like they should have been a factory option, then I like it.

ya my car is gay and i have them. LOL Its cool how some of these 2005 model cars are comin stock with altezza type tails like the equinox (spelling) and i think the matrix might have them too. and im sure more

Just because cars followed the style doesn't mean that they're any less stupid looking. At least with newer cars, they are (USUALLY) trying to engineer the lights to look appropriate for the vehicle.

they don't look right on a lot of cars. The taillights are designed to be on the cars from the factory. SOmetimes changing the factory stuff is a bad Idea and it looks bad, others it is not a bad idea at all. So pretty much what they said, styling usually doesn't match.

Originated on the Altezza Lexus race/rally car, the IS300, while at the same time brought into production under their IS300. They look perfect on it because that is where it originated from, just like the other Lexus's that came with them.
