tire mount and balance is approx $15 per tire/wheel, unless it is extremely low profile ones, then we charge $20/wheel. Come see me at the Moorhead Tires Plus, Zach Scherling liked the work I did on his wheels for his 7.

i might just do 15 a wheel. My tires are 215 50 17. Would that be considered low profile to you guys?

i went to the tires plus on 13th....and i actually had the tires taken off 1 rim...and mounted and balanced onto my other rims. and they charged me $10 a tire...maybe they gave me a discount since i know 2 of the managers there but im not sure.

To me, since the tires are a 50's series, I dont consider it extremely low profile but pretty damn close. If you are looking to have tires removed and new ones on, it would be kinda iffy on the price at $15, since that is what it costs to have the just put on. I should have stated that a little better. Let me know if you have the rims and tires separated and I can let you know a little better if I can get you the price at $15 mount and balanced. If any removal needed, maybe an additional $2.50-$5 a tire dependant upon what my bosses say. But I WILL GARRANTY that that size wont be more than $20 a tire.

They probably did discount it since you know them. Since they are nothing but labor items, they are easy to discount low. Normally, dismounting and remounting w/balance on another rim would run approx $20 a tire.

I paid a buddy 20 bucks at Sams in the Twin Cities to mount and balance the tires I have on my bullitts. 245 45 17. I'll be getting 245 45 17 in the front and some Nittos in the back. prolly 275 40 17

A 215/50/17 tire is not very low profile, and is definitely not very hard to mout/dismount. If it were something like a 225/35/18, that's a bitch.

That was you!!! I couldn't remember your screen name you said was yours. Love the car, and glad that we could help you out. Steve is definatly the person to talk to for deals on tire/wheel related issues.
