FS: '87 Toyota Land Cruiser - great 4x4
-
I'm selling my daily driver, its an '87 Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 with 218k mile on it
I purchased this car about 2 years ago, from 1 family in Colorado that owned it since new. It was very well maintained and I had it checked out by the dealer before flying to Denver to buy it, sight unseen, and driving it back to Fargo.
Since I've owned it I've put roughly 30k miles on it driving it to and from work. In the past 2 months I've driven it to Mpls and back 4 times and to Lincoln NE. The car runs very strong, always starts, sits outside in the winter and never gives me any problems.
I've invested some $$ into it, here's a short list of the work I've done:
New seats (i have the originals too)
New carpet
New distributor cap, wires and plugs
New fuel and air filters
New PCV valve
Machined the intake and exhaust manifold and new gaskets
Removed the cat
Serviced the carburator
All fluids changed (tranny, both diffs, coolant and transfer case)
All new belts
etc...The interior is in excellent condition - its very clean. The body has a few rust spots, but overall its very good. I love the car but I'm selling it b/c I bought a '97 Land Cruiser to go with my '00 Land Cruiser (see the trend?). Its a great in town car, but the manual 4 speed tranny is only good for about 60 or 65 mph on the highway.
I'm asking $3500 for it, obo. If I sell it to someone on FargoStreet I throw in a NIB set of rims I ordered for it, but haven't opened up. It will be in the paper on Sunday and on the internet (www.ih8mud.com) shortly there after.
Email me ([email protected]) or drop me a PM
Thanks
Brett
