well I finally got my car preped for some nice after market parts, I have a 1990 ford probe GT(no doubt you have heard of this before) but I've got the whole thing back to factory condition plus a few mods, I put in a new intercooler, BOV and 2.5 inch intercooler piping, now this winter I'm gonna try to upgrade the turbo, I think a T3/O4e works with my engine, but I need a new manifold along with a wastegate and downpipe to make it work. I guess what I'm wondering is if you guys know of any good places to look for this stuff, I know a site where i can buy these things, but it's alittle spendy, so I'm curious if there is a cheaper way to go? if you guys know please let me know. Im gonna start buying parts this fall and hopefully have it all bolted in by spring.

    -thanks

Oh yeah, while I have this thread here, I might as well see if anyone is interested in parts again, I'll sell em for pretty cheap, I have a 7 factory rims for a 90 probe GT, a water pump for sure! and various other parts, so if anyone has a probe or MX-6 and needs some parts, let me know I might have what you are looking for and can get it to you for a good price. need to fund some of these upgrades.

Based on word of mouth advertising, it sounds like Nick at Straight Line Specialities would be your best option for a manifold and downpipe. www.racingmazda.com lists a T3 manifold and a downpipe for the 88-92 Mazda MX-6. That's the only company even claiming to support your car with those kinds of parts. Fallguy and probe this both have used custom exhaust manifolds made by someone local. He doesn't do them out of a shop though, and I have no contact information.

Did you get your headlights fixed?

nope, still havn't found the short inmy headlights, gonna take it to a shop in town that told me they could fix it in an hour or two, they said they had runinto the problem before and it wouldn't be a problem for them, since I've looked and looked and can't find the short. yeah I checked that site and i think it was 550$ for a manifold, alittle more then I would like to pay, but if there's no option I guess I'll have to take it, I e-mailed them to see if they could get parts for my engine. thanks for the info
