n/a to sc 3800?

i recently bought a '94 park avenue to replace the talon. (yeah.. its a grandmamobile) anyway, its got a series 1 3800. a little while down the road, i was thinking about pulling a supercharger off a newer park avenue and throwing it on mine. as far as i know, the supercharged park avenues all have the series 2 3800 motor. anybody know anything about these motors and know if itll still work on mine?

just swap the motor...it will prolly cost the same and if not youll get a built motor and a tranny thatll take some more power...look around...but if you must do the supercharger on your S1 you need the heads and intake manifold...and im not sure if the heads bolt on to that motor or how safe the compression ratio would be...

Like what the above said, plus youll most likely need new pistons, rods, ecu, tranny, tq converter, and maybe even the engine if the heads dont even bolt up....soooo...

Best bet, pull an engine and put it in yours, or you might be better off finding a SC Regal or GP GTP, if not cheaper and selling the one that your Grammy gave ya to help out.

MY OPINION, Sell the one your Grammy gave ya, find something with a SC in it already.
