Yep, sorry it took awhile to get back to this, but we do offer lifetime alignments. We will align your car for as long as you own it, and as long as we can physically do the job without any extra labor, it wont cost you an extra dime at all. Now, if you have bad parts, then you should have them replaced, but depending on how bad they are you maybe able to get by without doing them and have it aligned, but it wont be a true alignment and you may have unwanted results. Now, if you have the parts replaced, either by us or by someone else, and you still own the vehicle, we will honor the lifetime alignment policy no questions asked.

There is one major problem right now, if you have the receipt, which I hope that all of you out there keep your receipts for all vehicle work, that will help out a lot because we just got new computers. If not, it might be a little difficult, but we should have our systems updated enough with all the old Work Orders in it to where we can look it up.

A lot of shops do offer different types of alignments, and the typical 4 wheel alignment is going for $70+ these days, mainly because of warrenty issues. We will honor our alignment warrenty up to 6 months or 6K miles on the vehicle.

Here is a short list of alignment costs...
2wheel alignment (mainly for trucks/suvs that only need toe change) $49.99
          4wheel alignment $69.99
any extra work needed to get into specs that arn't adjustable from factory, $80/hour + parts if needed. This is mainly for work like strut grinds or shims/cam bolts that need to be added.
          3year alignment $149.99
          lifetime alignment $199.99
and there are coupons and discounts out there, mainly if you have other services done.

Thank you very much, at my next alignment I'm coming to you, so you can get the comission, but you can't drive my car, I don't care what the insurance says. for $200 exceptions can be made for friends right?

no problem at all, that is what our shop is for. Just keep in mind that we may recommend parts if we believe that they are bad, or getting bad. Most shops will do this, both for business and to save our asses. If a part is bad enough, we may not even do the alignment at all, or we wont warrenty it. But most of the time, depending on the vehicle, we are more than willing to align it without a problem.

How does that work? does your shop get paid by the company to keep doing these alignments, like an insurance deal?
i cant really see the money making deal in this....

and whats a "warranty" on an alignment? whats is there to warranty? pulling?

i assume it's because the average person doesn't own their car for very long, and if they do, they don't remember that they have a lifetime alignment anywhere. or, the hope is that the average person doesn't get their car aligned very often, probably less than once every other year.
again, these are the same people that probably won't spend upwards of $100 per tire, and they don't understand that a worn out tie rod can cause several hundred dollars in damage

That is along the lines of how cooperate works. They offer a great package, but hope that the vehicle doesn't need much work later, but will stand behind there offer. Current suggestions go along with getting an alignment checked once a year or ever 12-15K miles. If you exerience any problems with the alignment, i.e. it pulls or wheels crooked, it isn't a hassle to have it checked. Our new alignment machine lets us check an alignment within 5 minutes, so that isn't the issue, it is the labor that is involved in adjusting it that hurts us later, but when the customer pays for the alignment in the first place, that is when we are more than willing to make the customer happy and have them come back.

I bought tires at Fleet Farm and I got the warantee for a couple bucks extra and got free lifetime rotations and balancings and alignments

i would double check the agreement on the tires you bought. i'm guessing it's the same as what tires plus offers: lifetime rotation and balancing of the tires, the rest of the suspension is up to you. just a guess, because offering a lifetime alignment for a few dollars extra per tire sounds pretty silly

I have never heard of a place offering lifetime alignments just for a few dollars more with a tire package. It maybe free alignment CHECKS the life of the tires.

Ours are liftime rotations and balance checks....lifetime balance and roadhazard a little more.
