IMHO opinion i dont think any of you minors should be sendi ng any letters into or be attending any meetings. I think you should leave up to the little bit older mature crowd who can better handle/word the situation rather than just trying to walk in there throwing a fit and writing letters like your gonna start throwing around law suits. Younger kids always think they can just start making threats w/ law suits and taking people to court but when in reality they have no idea what their talking about or getting themselves into w/ court actions and what not.

that kind of reminds me of something that happened in Australia a little bit ago...they currently reformed the import of foreign cars....i heard this on the JDMOC forum...before they could import cars just like canada can...when they were trying to change the law a bunch of 18yr olds sent in their letters saying that they should be able to import their skylines and blah blah blah...well it ended up backfiring against the whole thing...not sure if that was really relevant but it was when i started typing it lol

I just fly out into the intersection,and cut them off, and strand them out in the middle of whatever lane. That has to be one of my favorite things to do in the world.

I fly out in my slow car, I would have witnesses that it is clearly their fault for running a red.
Secondly, if you guys need support for loud car tickets, I'm there with ya, just let me know.

so let me get this straight.. the "speed racer" cars with modified exhaust is just plain illegal period? or it is a ticketable offense if the officer on duty decides you are interupting his two hour lunch break frog-athon?

I don't know how many times I have heard someone rip down 15th st, looked out my window, and gosh, its a car with a can on it, or a motorcycle. They are just looking for the people that are causing the complaints. I don't rip through neighborhoods, or through campus at night, because its annoying to people who are trying to sleep to have to listen to a loud exhaust. You gotta be respectful with your car, things such as the weaving through traffic, ripping through with a loud exhaust, and all that shit has to stop. Thats why you are getting a bad name.

This shit has to stop too. FWIW, I should have been more clear, I hear PLENTY of V8's at night by my house too, not just "speed racers."
Maybe I should start "looking out for them" with their modified exhausts and whatnot and making phone calls to the police w/ license plate numbers or even vague descriptions about cars racing by my house at night....
I'm not pissed that they're cracking down, I'm pissed that they're profiling a specific type of car when obviously its not just one style or another.

I'm sorry, but that is such bullshit, they won't target anyone else but the import/tuners. they don't care about motorcyles, trucks, and their muscle cars. this town is seriously going to hell!!! FUCK cops.... they are pretty much "trying" to take everything away from us
