Since I didn't get in on this in time. I have one thing racial to say. I am from a small town in the midwest. I drove a pickup with a gun in the back window, rusted (loud) exhaust, and I had fun shooting with said gun. I also drink budweiser. By you definition Jim, I am a redneck. You did just profile me, and have many times before. This illustrates the point that we all do it, including you. However, I don't care because I have, for the most part, a care free attitude. I know you are a minority Jim, as are many others. I understand that you may be upset, but please watch the insult throwing, it works both ways.

I started doing this these last few weeks of the summer months. Feels good being a nice driver. People get suprised when young kids drive the speed limit, help people with flat tires, and stop completely at stop signs even if there's no need. I suggest everyone do the same. makes driving more relaxing. -

8-0908. Mufflers required--Cutouts prohibited.--No person shall drive a motor vehicle on any street or highway unless such motor vehicle is equipped with a muffler, together with any necessary extensions, pipes or resonators, in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive and unusual noise and annoying smoke. Such exhaust system shall operate to blend the exhaust noise into the over-all vehicle noise. No person shall use a Amuffler cutout@, Abypass@ or similar device on any motor vehicle upon the streets or highways in the city. The exhaust system shall not emit or produce a sharp, popping or cracking sound, nor shall it emit or produce loud or explosive noises.
