So finally people want to do something about it. I remember suggesting this a while ago. Good for you guys.
Also, be sure to get as much information as you can from the victims. Statistics will help you. Did most of the thefts occur on a Sunday night? On a weekday night? Last day of the month? Do the same with location, things stolen, type of cars broken into, how they were broken into, etc
I am still in disbelief seeing all the threads pop up faster than rabbits on viagra about cars getting broken into, my condolences for all of you being hit by these criminals. I wish you luck in your pursuit to bring them to justice.

And what exactly do you guys think your going to do?? Gonna start hunting these people down and beat them up? I mean seriously come on. If you wanyt something to seriously happen you need to get the police involved and get them to do something about it for once.

when the police start refusing to show up in person to take a police report I feel they have pretty much said "oh well." I am not about getting a lynch mob together either, but it is clear the police in both moorhead and fargo really dont give a damn.

I have some suspects and some info on them, my girlfriends probe was broken into the same way as these other cars I dont know if I can attend the meet or not, but I have all the info I can come up with at the time and have given it to Joel

How many times do people have to say it. NO COPS HAVE DONE ANYTHING TO PROSECUTE PEOPLE ABOUT STEALING THINGS. like mitch says, when the police refuse to come to a scene for stolen things, there has to be something wrong. Also, I have contacted the police. I left the case worker a message with some information on his phone, and tonight i get a call from people wondering why the police contacted them. A person who told me that someoe tried to sell him something is now being held as a suspect. Then the police from fargo PD call him about more stolen shit. He was trying to help, but the only time the cop acted he got his stories completely fucked up. I honestly think that police are worthless at this point and I honestly don't understand why they can't just do their job.

i got an idea
hook up an electric fencing system...so whenever someone touches your car ..they get shocked....works great..
had to do it once because my dogs kept jumping on my moms car...it kept them off thats for sure and never fried any of the electrical shit in her car or anything...should try that.

Also, highly illegal. It is unlawful to do anything that will cause someone bodily harm. For example, it is illegal to rap your radio wiring in barbed wire, it is illegal to glue razorblades to the back of the radio, it is illegal to sharpen the bottom of the Mercedes hood ornament, it is illegal to use the ignition coil to zap someone who is vandalizing your vehicle, etc.....
There have been many people that have been sued and lost HUGE amounts of money because of the above antics.
