so true, i saw him do it too. i wish a cop would have been there to give him a ticket for his exhaust or somethig because i would have walked by the car, beings i was at tb at the time and laughed at him and then come on here and make fun of him more!!!!That really would have been swell, I've actually had some questions for the cops.

So about the stuff being stolen I heard from someone that they saw my stuff and a lot of other stolen stuff in the suspects possesion. I talked to Joel about it and he is taking care of it. Also the same sunday that my, joel, and germstads stuff was stolen Derek Nelson also got his system ipod and radar detector jacked, same night same way window off the hinges and dome light taken apart and bulb pulled out. The suspects knew this kid to he drives a red cavalier.

Actually Joel just talked to an officer and we are now going to talk to the MoorheadPD as they asked us if we could come in.

Nicole's dome was taken apart and bulb pulled out as well...makes sense, if they were spending any sort of time, might as well not turn it into the super8 motel where the light is always on and advertise
This stuff is crazy. Maybe instead of spending so much energy fighting, people should work together. I bet the only reason Mustangs aren't getting hit too is because they are probably garaged.

Ok, I'm sure noone wants my opinion, but here it is anyway...
Joel had a great idea of getting all the info together w/ descriptions, serial numbers, etc... of stolen property. It seems everyone else thought that he was trying to start up some sort of posse to hunt these guys down, that doesn't appear to be the case. All he wanted was to have a decent list to present to the fargo/moorhead PD's. One or two cars in a block messed with....not a HUGE deal....a bunch of cars in a town messed with, bigger problem. Perhaps the police department would be more willing to listen if they came up with a larger list and specifics.
The problem with the from vehicles is that its hard to prove who stole something, even if prints are left behind since prints are only good once you already have a record. The only realistic shot the police have of catching these people is if they catch them in the act....or if enough people report the problem with a list of people that they think may have a reason to do something....once the same names start showing up on multiple lists, the police may be more willing to do some questioning.
I hope the meeting went well, and I hope that you gathered some good information to pass along to the police. Please don't post your suspects on here, it will only add to the drama and really won't do anything to stop it from happening again.

Well the meeting with the Moorhead pd turned out pretty good, took down our information that we gathered. Hopefully they do something to help us get our stuff back, as for the question on rockford stuff im not sure but from what Matt krzydrftr93 heard from the suspects girlfriend he had a lot of stereo stuff.

Just figured I would throw in my 2 cents. Obviously you guys are watching the pawn shops and I am betting the stuff won't turn up there. So either the thieves are keeping the stuff for themselves, (which is pretty stupid) or selling it somewhere else. I don't know if anyone has suggested it yet, but watch Ebay, its really easy to sell stuff one and you can find a buyer for anything, plus it usually ends up half way accross the country. I know that because I did it years ago, watch for a seller that has a bunch of items like what was stolen in the same general location. Cause I know there is a bunch of stereo stuff on there now, from sellers in this area.
Just figured I would mention it, found a car I had stolen that way a few years ago. Had a 98 Neon R/T that was modded up, was stolen one night , and just by sheer luck a week later I came accross a lot of Neon parts in Grand Forks on Ebay and recognized they were from my car.

How do you search in Ebay to find where an item is being sold from?
