well, I bought it from a guy named matt miller. He had done some work to it. The motor is pretty greasy. there might be a leak in a gasket somewhere, but other than that, It's fine. It needs a clutch. thats all.i'm prettty positive that out there know what he is talkin about, i've driven the car before it got repoed, i even talked to Tim tonight and he said he misses that car,.

i know he doesn't want it back, now that he has an rx7... if i drove it again, i could tell you whether or not the motor is running at it's potential, because i drove it before the person who sold it to tim bought it (it was on my list of 3 potential delivery cars 2.75 years ago)

one last thing and we stop polluting this thread: there's a big difference between mind and want, i know he doesn't want it back enough to pay anything for it. -
this wouldn't be the worst winter car; the carbureted sohc is really underpowered and the whole car feels pretty well balanced. on a definite plus note, the transmission (last time i drove it) shifted very smoothly.
the only things that show age on this car are the few rust spots and the lack of a muffler (unless it's been replaced?) -

No muffler, but because of the tiny motor, It isn't really that loud.
Thanks for the help, out there. This car with a little bit of weight in the back would be perfect. the clutch isn't what I would call brand new, so for winter, it would actually help you.NOW INCLUDED: 4 DELUXE 50 LB SANDBAGS!(non-oem)
