sound deadener
-
Well i ended up taking out all of the factory sound deadning material
(asphalt material) from the floor boards, rear deck, and rear fender wells due to the weight of it.I am now returning the car back to stock since i have a new project car. So i'm looking at putting some sound deadning back in to quiet it down as it was stock or a little better. I have done some research and have come up with the roofing material peel and seal as a great product to use.I don't want to spend much so anyone have any other ideas or products. -
there is a product called "Brown Bread" that works wonders and is cheaper than most other sound deadening material.

I have used brown bread, and a blue liquid product called BQ2. they both worked great but one of them smelled a bit like cat piss. the brown bread i remember was very heavy and i needed to heat it up quite a bit to get it to form to the bottom of my trunk. i painted the sides of the trunk and the interior of the panels with the liquid stuff, worked splendidly. this was on my old galant btw.
