cruising in Williston
-
okraruok and some other friends of mine are from there.
it's like 6:15 from here (if you drive like me, subtract one hour). On the western border of the state. Not a very fun drive.
How about we invite them to come over here? They can give the fpd something to do besides dogpile on random cars at 1:05AM.

have any of you heard of county road 20, all the wrx owners should have (everyone at muscatell tells the wrx owners to go there), it is on the way there and it goes all around the badlands and it is in a idian res so you can haul ass without to much trouble. I have drove it twice and it is like the roads you see in commercials. And if you take the northern route we could probably get there in round 4 hours, i have done it a haggard mercurcy sable before. they have lot roads that run through the badlands that are fun drive, fun for the rally cars that is.

hey, i lived in williston from '90 to 95. crazy town. there is a bar called the k k korner. not sure what to think.
yeah, the badlands are great for driving. used to take my parents car (faster than mine) and rip around quite a bit. destroyed the tranny on that thing. they blamed it on the car manufacturer. it was actually my driving. i've been riddled with guilt ever since. don't tell my parents.

I have relatives in Williston. If anyone pulls up to a 2002? Mazda Miata (white) while in Willyville, tell him I (Chris) sent you to race him. He probably won't, but anyway... He's my uncle, a real cool guy.

I see Williston hasn't changed since I lived there in 94 then. HOWEVER if you guys want some serious crazy stereo installs done, talk to Greg Fuchs at Car Tunes. That guy is a genious and very very very detail orientated.

i was wondering if anyone has seen the cruise scene in Williston. It is f---in hilarious. I was there last year and was cruisin around with my cousins and some of my friends. (i used to live there in williston) Everyone was being gay to me. I raced the "fastest car in town", it was some Saturn, and killed it. I think it would be funny if a lot of us would show up one night and make them all shit all over themselves.Lol, what color was it? THere is some kid in a purple saturn here with neons and a fartpipe, he seems to think its "fast". Its slow as hell, probly runs a 19 second 1/4, lol.
There are some fast cars up here, but you wont catch them cruising. And they are all older Domestics. You can see quite a few at Motor Magic.
I jsut finished my 95 AWD talon, and Im kinda wondering why I bothered investing so much money into it. There isnt even anything worth racing

Sad thing is that bar is STILL open. My parents told me quite a few years back that there was KKK members running it back in the day. They should really change their name now...

He should have a display at state fair and motor magic selling die cast cars if anyone wanted to talk to him.

yea i know there a shit load of nice older cars (muslce cars). And I know there are a lot of other cars there too. To tell you the truth, williston is kind of a hot spot for cars. Only because of rich oil workers. Yes i know none of them cruise around it is a hih school thing. That is what everyone does because there is nothing really else to do. I have a hella lot of relatives there who have such cars. And for the Saturn, it was like gold in color, the guy paid way to much for it, I think he paid like 9 grand for it. it was outragous.

Thing about all the oil workers is they have all the cash and the projects, but dont have time to finish them. Exactly why I dont get into that crap.
