The average american person is under the impression that sony is 1337, when in reality there are like 2 or 3 company's that make lcd screens in the entire world. Some cheap ass LCD brand like MAG is more than likely going to be the exact same quality as the sony. Also, on things like TVs, sony isn't always the best, like everyone thinks(not that they are horrible)

I would choose a SONY flat screen over any other flat screens any day.My roomate has 2 36'' SONY flat screen and the picture is great! Also my other roomy has a plasma SONY t.v. and that also has a kick ass picture

in terms of laptops, sony vaios have the cleanest and sharpest screens.
