Basically just looking for year and sanctioning body (IASCA, USAC, MECA, etc...) I was not aware of anyone local even going to world finals is why I ask.
-
no.....what year did he go to finals.
-
He went to finals 2 years ago.....i'll ask him today when i go in to work.....he has a shitload of trophies to prove it.
-
I'm not arguing, I'm just curious.
-
Its not IASCA however:
http://www.iasca.com/events/results.php?event_number=97
nor USACi
http://www.soundoff.org/supportfiles/03finals.zip
If it was one of the others, I'd like to talk to him about the general format, and how smooth things were run. I've been tempted to atend some of the other nationals and/or compete sometime.
-
im not sure if it was 2003 or not...i'll ask him when i see him next....i'll get you some facts...
-
Looks good! Doesnt he also have plans for some engine work?
-
Alright i got the details today
It was USAC......he was in the 150-300 class..

I think[U] your boy lied to you. Only Nathans I can find in their world finals results pages are for SPL, not Sound Quality. I don't doubt he has won many awards in stereo competitions, he just (as far as I can tell) didn't take third at world finals.
I searched the 2002 to 2005 world finals (as you said it was relatively recent). Would have gone back to the 2000 or 2001, had there been a USACi world finals those years (they were doing a co-op finals with IASCA those years)
Don't believe me, check here http://www.soundoff.org/result.htm
I'd still like to talk to the guy and see his setup some time.
