New Shop In Town???

Im coming into this conversation a lil late.... but I agree with what most of you said about upsetting the customer base and starting up a lil drama. A few years ago there was a shop in Minot that did the samething.... they lasted the summer. Troy and Blake will know exactly who Im talking about. The stories sound very similar.
I also agree jumping into flooded market may not be a wise decision, but its your money do as you wish... I hope all works well. I've got a idea brewing in my head but Im worried about competition as well. Not really from anyone in fargo, but from people online.

Um...pretty sure ANYONE can be racist. If you are of one race, and are speaking about another race, what you say can potentially be racist. You could even be racist against your own race. It has nothing to do with who is the minority/majority in a particular area. -

I think you have a mis-conception of the Asian population. If you've ever been to any cities with large asian populations you'll find the uneducated are just as racist as any other similar group.
Being the minority in a population doesn't mean that your not racist, it just means you have a better chance of being misunderstood.
Again, to be objective you can never group people as a race, only as individuals; there are too many variables invovled.

I use to be in a club with him. he left before me and went with some other people. He can come off very cocky but you just cant let it get to you.
i dont have a problem with him trying to do something with his life. I just think it would be smarter to try to start somewehre else where there isnt a shop already. Maybe in the wahpeton area or something like that.
Well, i guess we can just kick back, let him do what he wants and see how it goes. It will be tough to get anything going around here since everyone is pretty much stuck on the few shops we have.

Bosnian = country, not a race.
They are Southeastern Europeans, geographically speaking.
Slandering them b/c they are Bosnian is no different than me making fun of the French (who deserves it, by the way).
Race is based on the color of one's skin and ancestry. Not where you call home.

Why not drop the racial nonsense in this thread because it is off topic for one, and complaining and putting someone else in there place is only going to fuel more emotion on the subject and start more drama in this thread. If you want to keep on about the pros and cons why not start a new thread. Sorry to be all admn. in here but WTF can we as a group try and stay on topic without bs arguing for once in this forums existence.

well now im offended(im french), and btw, as i recall from 8th grade history class, this country would not be a country if the french hadn't stepped in and helped out in the revolutionary war, so show some fucking respect.

and i agree with everyone that he just lost some customer base...i know if this shop opens up, i'll never go there...even tho i live in minot, i would still go to fargo for a good shop and good customer service, as with a few ppl i know of in minot...
