So after almost three months of not having my car, its back in action. Or it was. So I was driving from Brainerd to Bemidji this summer, and my tranny decided to take a shit. Wasn't racing, wasn't beating on it, just high way driving, down shifted to pass somebody and 3rd gear disappeared. Then the rest of the gears went... Had to get towed from the middle of the highway, back to where I was staying ($100).
Then came the dillema of getting from Bemidji to Moorhead... another $400. As many of you know 2G Tranny's aren't cheap... $1000 for a used one. Oh, and my clutch was gone, my motor mount was broken, my alternator was falling off, my drainplug was leaking, some part of the radiator was leaking... Super!
Well, its all fixed now... for the most part. Got the tranny fluid, the oil, coolant, new mount, new tranny, fixed it all i guess;
I drive it home tonight, tranny doesn't like to stay in 1st gear! shit... good thing it came with a warranty! but still... hope it can be fixed so it doesnt have to come out again.
Oh, and then as I was trying to come to work tonight, the clutch pedal sticks to the floor and i cant shift in to any gear; prob fluid, or slave cylinder, don't know yet...
All I can say, is that its a DSM. But hey, look on the bright side, it's keeping the miles low... and for the 20 minutes I drove it: it was fun.

Heh, I didn't even catch the pun that was intended when "out there" asked if it was from turning left.......whew, gotta not stay up so late watching racing movies, I must be getting old.

I don't know, I am kind of interested in who the "tuner" community is interested in having represent our country. Yes, there will be pissing matches anytime you bring up politics, but I'll admit, I like a good debate (argument).

I still dont get it... whats the pun? I"m dumb haha.... Um, from what I gathered... people with 2G's freak out when they turn left with the clutch in becuase if it sticks to the floor, its one of the warning signs there is crank walk.
Hehehe... Its ok about Politics... shit its fargostreet... all it is is DRAMA right guys?
