Nissan Chip Burning

Does anyone around here have the ability to burn chips for Nissans? I will be needing a tune this year and would like to set it up for my injectors and get as close as possible on the rom and then fine tune with the SAFC. I don't have the money for the PFC or standalone just yet and I don't wanna send away for a $500 tune from Enthalpy and the likes. I have a daughterboard for my ecu and it has a set of custom chips already in it but im scared to put it in just incase its for somethin way different than the seller said it was...so yeah if any body can do this around here that would be great...Oh yeah if it matters its for an S13 SR20DET with #62 ECU.

i was going to buy a bikirom kit but the wait on those is over 1 year

ya there was a group buy on it in august on ka-t and they still havent finished the order and then it has got to be shipped from austrailia

i know its a dual chip setup...i have a few of them laying around i think...i can show you sometime if thatd help GSR....but ill try to figure out the info anyway

edit: they kind of look like the old Intel 8008 chip...

i just looked at my board and it said AT27C256 or AT27C512...you think those are the only ones that will work?

could you buy a entalpy or jwt ecu and copy the program that come on it and use it as a base map. and then tune from there and sell then the tuned one?

yeah you could probably do that if youd like^^^^ but remember someone would have to have almost the same setup as you

jon go here... http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9102&highlight=chipping+ecu hopefully you have one of 2 ecus that can be chipped...go out and rip that baby out and find out...that way you know if you need a new one...i have one for a 95 KA 5spd if you need one(i think they work dont they?)...yours might be 8bit and then you dont even need a daughterboard...otherwise that guy on there said he can get em for like $30-$35...or you can get them from PLMS developments for around $60...

i didnt have much time to look at that ill read the whole thing this weekend. but none of the pics showed up. id dont know if you had the same thing. but i have a 93 ecu ill take a look at it and see after i look at that more
